Kitty of the Week:
Domestic Shorthair

(photo above)

This absolutely gorgeous calico cat is 4 year-old Banana, a Domestic Medium Hair. Banana is an independent young lady who is not shy about asking for attention. She would do best with someone that will give her plenty of play interaction, and who lets her come to them for pets when she's ready. Sweet and curious, Banana almost instantly gives head butts to her favorite person. How cute is that? This kitty is pretty playful and especially loves to chase toys on a string. She’s a fun cat to be around! She also enjoys being independent and will do best in a quiet home without young children. If you would like to give her a forever home, drop by for a visit with Banana today.

Dog of the Week:
Lab/Retriever Mix

Meet Remy. He's an especially handsome 3-year-old male Retriever/Lab mix. This boy is super smart and already knows several commands including sit, down, and roll over! He's very eager to please so will be a fun dog to train. He's very active and would be an awesome buddy out on the hike and bike trails! He loves to play catch too. Remy is house trained and used to staying in a crate when he needs to be home alone. He's been with us for some time and we'd love for him to find his forever home. Come meet Remy, a super pal, at AHS today!

Senior Spotlight
Main Coon

Say hello to this gorgeous senior gal, Liberty. She's an 11-year-old Main Coon whose exotic looks are really catching attention! Liberty isn’t just gorgeous though, she’s got loads of personality. She is quite the social butterfly. She really enjoys being around people and getting lots of pets and scratches. Liberty does have a medical condition that is triggered by stress. Therefore, her ideal place is a quite and steady home, with a laid back family where she can relax and get lots of love. Don’t let that turn you away, our adoption staff would be happy to tell you more! Because she is a senior cat, Liberty’s adoption fee is being waived. Does Liberty sound like a good addition to your family? Stop in to AHS and meet Liberty today!
