We're 14 days into the New Year. I hope 2019 has been treating you well. I ran across this list that I thought could be helpful if you're trying to cut down on all the sugary, fatty foods that were eaten during the Holidays. I had a sugartooth that ran on full throttle Sugar Rush, that needs some taming. These Hacks seem helpful. Another bonus.. get organic goodies. Grab yummies from your local farmers' markets. You'll also be doing 1THING that helps your lifestyle and Mama Earth's too! BIG WINS! 

7 Life Hacks to a Healthier Lifestyle:

  1. Drink more water ... Drink more water ... DRINK MORE WATER! 
  2. Cook most meals at home / planning a week's worth ahead of time helps too.
  3. Prep your food ahead of time for meals during the week
  4. Change your mind about snacks  Switch out Candy/ Bars, cookies and chiops for more natural snacks  fruits, trail mix and granola bars
  5. Streamline Smoothies prep the ingredients earlier, so you can just grab, blend & drink.
  6. Add Veggies - Whether it's to your smoothies, your meal or switching them out for other parts of your meals. Example:  Cauliflower crust pizza
  7. Exercise at work / your desk - Stretching!  Talking the stairs rather than the elevator at work. Going for a walk around the building or inside the building. Add extra movements during the work dya.

Does this mean #DarkChocolate Oreos don't make the list?  Well not directly, but I figure everything in moderation can be good for you. Maybe having a cookie every now & then will be helpful, so cheating doesn't happen worse. You're call if they make your list.  Here's my answer w/ honey Ted!
