There's no certain number how many people are displaced, and will continue to be displaced as Lake Travis continues to rise. There are many in Central Texas who are in need. Any help is very much appreciated, whether it's donating items,volunteering or making a $$ donation. Here are some ways to help... (KVUE)

Airbnb: Airbnb’s Disaster Response and Relief Team has been activated for those displaced and in need of somewhere to stay due to the flooding It allows residents that have been displaced to find temporary housings with local hosts who are opening their homes free of charge. Ways You Can Help Others:

  • Red Cross donations taken online, mail and by phone here
  • Austin Disaster Relief Network is in need of financial donations to fund materials that are needed for recovery.  Call 512-806-0800 or click here

    First United Methodist Church 1101 Bluebonnet Drive in Marble Falls are accepting new / unopened supples. 830-693-4341 
  • Bottled water & Gatorade
  • Cleaning Supplies - gloves, bleach, cleanerw w/ bleach, laundry soap, utility rags, paper towels, wipes & hand sanitizer
  • Tools- shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, large fans, work gloves, buckets & sorting bins
  • Commercial garbage bags
  • Gift cards for Home Depot, Lowers, Wal-Mart, H-E-B
  • No used clothing or furniture
