Dog of the Week:

The Dog of the Week, Jesse, is an exceptionally handsome 3-year-old buddy and we can't understand how he hasn't been adopted yet!  He has quickly become a volunteer and staff favorite. Jesse is affectionate to people and likes other dogs. He's got a great energy level and will love going on walks and hikes with his person.  He'd probably do best in a home with a yard. But can also just chill out on the couch. Jesse is house trained and also very smart.  He's recently been used as a demo dog in our volunteer training.  This dog is the total package!  Jesse’s adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter surgery  microchip, and current vaccinations. Come meet Jesse at AHS today!

Cat of the Week:
Domestic Longhair

Sweet Jelly landed at AHS after her family moved out of the country. This Domestic Longhair is a perfect 10-year-old lady with lots of love to give. She's indoor-only and gets along fine with dogs, but would prefer to be the only cat in her new home. Jelly is affectionate, laid back and ready to relax with her humans. Her adoption fee is just $85 and includes microchip, spay surgery, and current vaccinations. Come meet Jelly at AHS today.

Senior Spotlight:
Australian Cattle Dog

Howie is a beautiful 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who’s ready to find love! He is a big boy at about 70 pounds and is a total pup at heart. Howie is smart, well-trained and lots of fun to be around. He loves to play with his stuffed toys and go for long walks with his people. Did we mention he likes the water? Howie gets along with other dogs, is house-trained, and rides nicely in the car. He does like to chase squirrels and deer, so a fenced in yard is best for this big boy. Howie’s adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter surgery, microchip, and current vaccinations. Howie is currently spending some time with a foster family, so email to set up a time to come meet Howie!
