Meet Lizzy, the Austin Humane Society’s Cat of the Week! This gorgeous 9-month-old Domestic Shorthair has brains and beauty! Lizzy has lots of energy and loves to play - especially with wand toys! She likes other cats and dogs too, as long as she gets a slow introduction. Lizzy is mircochipped, spayed, and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is just $100. Stop in and meet Lizzy today!

Dog of the Week:
Chevy
4-year-old
Pointer Mix

Meet Chevy, a 4-year-old Pointer mix with a heart of gold, and his full-body wiggle will make you giggle! Chevy is an enthusiastic boy who’s incredibly eager to please, enjoys a good run or play session, and loves meeting new dogs and people. He’s quickly learning a whole bag of tricks, including Sit, Down, and how to walk well on a leash. Chevy is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines, and would do best in a home with older children. His adoption fee is just $85, so stop by to see Chevy and make him part of your family!

Senior Spotlight:
Coco
10-year-old
Shepherd Mix

Coco is a 10-year-old senior gal with the brightest smile you’ve ever seen! She’s sweet and shy, and when she warms up to you she’s very affectionate. Coco is house trained and easy going. She would do best in a quieter home. Coco is a bit on the heavy side, weighing about 91 pounds. She’s currently on a diet and would benefit from a family who likes to go on walks. Coco is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped. In order to help Coco find a forever home, we are waiving her adoption fee! She is currently staying with a foster family to take a bit of a break from the shelter. If you’d like to meet Coco, just email fostercare@austinhumanesociety.org.
