A short road trip outside of Austin can get you to a zoo that is doing it's part to help stop the extinction of White Lions. You will find 2 rare White Lion Cubs at the  Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo in New Braunfels, Texas. On their site they mention that even though White Lions are rare to see, it's a recessive gene that makes them white. Other than that, they are the same species as a regular Lion we are used to seeing.

But ... White Lions are still rare to see, so many are excited about heading to New Braunfels to see the cubs. The White Lion Cubs, Nzuri and Kali, can be seen from 10 AM to 12 PM and at 5:30 PM during the "Little Safari Show". You'll also enjoy seeing sloths, camels and more. The zoo is open from 10a -7p daily. Admission is $12.75 per person.  Directions & more here!

Lots of Mix Facebook Friends are excited about going to see Nzuri & Kali. Will you visit them?
