Dog of the Week: Wally ... 2-year-old ... Australian Cattle Dog Mix (photo above)
Meet Wally! Wally is a super handsome, two-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix. At only 53 pounds, he's a great size and will make someone an awesome and loyal companion. He likes to think he's a lapdog and he is the best in finding shady spots outside to chill out with you. Outdoor reading/nap session anyone? That's when he's at his happiest. We even think we've caught him smiling a time or two! Wally's adoption fee is just $85 and includes microchip, current vaccinations, and neuter surgery. Come meet sweet Wally at AHS today!

Cat of the Week: The Great Catsby ... 6-year-old ... Domestic Shorthair
Look at this handsome moustached kitty! Meet the Austin Humane Society’s cat of the week, The Great Catsby. This 6-year old distinguished gentleman is indoors only, gets along with other cats and is a total lover.  He's mellow, affectionate and ready to find his forever home. The Great Catsby is microchipped, neutered and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is just $30. Come meet The Great Catsby at PetsMart on Parmer Lane today.

Senior Spotlight:
Lacey ... 7-year-old ...
Mixed Breed
Meet Lacey,
a 7-year-old mixed breed beauty! Lacey was rescued from an overwhelmed shelter along the Texas border earlier this year. Since arriving at AHS, she’s become one of the most easy going, loving ladies around. She loves to get attention and affection and will give it right back! Lacey is mostly house trained and gets along with other dogs, though she’d do best in a solo home. She likes to go on walks and does great on the leash. Lacey’s adoption fee is $85 which includes current vaccinations, spay surgery, and microchip. Lacey is ready to find her forever family in central Texas, so stop by the shelter and meet sweet Lacey today!
